Meet Dr. Rich Sadowski
I’ll admit, I was clueless! I had no idea what a chiropractor did.
Chiropractic Changed My Path
“It’s funny how life has a way of opening one door and closing another. I thought I was going to be an architect, but found that my true passion lies in overall health, wellness and fitness. Trying to decide which path to take was a troubling task. A friend mentioned chiropractic and it caught my attention. I visited my grandmother’s chiropractor and learned about a natural approach to health, fitness and well-being. I was hooked! This was exactly what I was looking for. I set the course and never looked back.”
Starting an Education in Health
Dr. Sadowski started his pre-chiropractic education after graduating from Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Preparatory High School in 1983. From there, he attended Oakland University in Rochester, MI where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. After completing his undergraduate work, he was accepted to National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, IL.
Returning Home
During his years at National College, Dr. Sadowski earned a second Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology as well as his Doctorate in Chiropractic. He completed the five-year graduate program in only three and a half years. Dr. Sadowski then returned to the lakes area to establish Commerce Chiropractic in 1991.
We Love Skeptics!
‘’I’ve realized that most people are skeptical because they don’t really know what chiropractic is all about. We make it a point to explain in advance, answer questions and continually communicate. We believe that the more a person understands, the better decision they can make about their health. We also explain our fees up front, so that people know exactly what to expect. Our patients appreciate that.”
Sharing Chiropractic’s Healing
Dr. Sadowski and his wife Staci have two sons, Noah and Dylan. Both children were delivered with the help of a midwife and were adjusted within hours of birth. (If that sounds interesting, be sure to ask Dr. Sadowski to explain.) Commerce Chiropractic sponsors events for the Open Door food pantry. We also participate with our local schools by volunteering our time and donating services to them.
